There are many different kinds of theme you could choose for Christmas, anything from a single color to animals , angels or snowmen. Some themes can be really wacky like palm trees or strawberries! Non Planned Tree Decorating

Well this is more my approach because I let my children do it. Christmas is for children and they so love to find their Christmas stash and all the ornaments from last year. The homemade Christmas ornaments go up then the presents and lastly the new decorations from this year. The tree is totally disorganized and very colorful and they love it.
